03/2024. Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA. Really wanted to capture the beautiful morning light over the snow and ice in the street.
10/2023. Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan- canal in the winter with mountains in the back. Painted from a photo I took when traveling there- I took creative liberties with a lot of the orange colors.
4/2025. Cape Elizabeth, Portland, ME. I wanted to focus on the beautiful sunset light on the snow.
12/2026. St. John's Bridge, Portland, OR. Focus on the beautiful fall foliage, wanted a nice autumnal piece.
12/2023. Lake Biwa, Japan. This was painted lovingly for my Japanese teacher and a memory of our time together in Japan. Gouache was used to bring out the light colors of the grass.
09/2023. Haystack Rock, Cannon Beach, Oregon- reflective blue sky in the sand and water. This was my second pass and I really wanted to capture the reflections on the beach.
07/2019. Pismo Beach, CA. Focused on capturing the incoming clouds over the ocean, mist over the hill and beach.
